6 Months

I'm a little late posting about Isaiah's 6 months. :) He just went to the dr. this past Tuesday. He is 19 lbs, 27 inches. At his 4 month check up, he was in the 50th percentile, now he's in the 75th percentile. So he's definitely a growing boy. The dr. gave the go-ahead to let Isaiah start trying table foods. He said we can let him experiment/play with table foods - then around 9 months, he'll want us to work on getting him to eat table foods regularly at meals, so by the time he is 12 months old, he is eating table foods all the time. Isaiah loves food, so he definitely won't have a problem eating table food regularly! He hasn't so far! :) Really, he has been grabbing at my food for a couple of months now, so I think he is definitely enjoying getting to taste what it is that I have! :) I've let him try waffles, green beans, mashed potatoes, pancakes, biscuits, whip cream & a little icing off of a birthday cake tonight from our nephew's 2nd Birthday party. Oh yea, he also had rits crackers tonight at the party as well. He loves all of it! And it is the CUTEST thing to see him chewing! :) He also likes to drink water. I try sippy cups with him during the day & he loves the Nuby one with the silicone tip the best! He hasn't gotten the hang of it, but I know he'll get it quickly. Tonight, my sister-in-law gave me a bottle with a regular nipple that has handles so that Isaiah can get used to holding his bottle/cup by himself for an easier transition. I'll definitely be trying that out tomorrow! :)

Isaiah & Daddy sleeping! :)
I thought this was the cutest thing. Isaiah never falls asleep with his head forward like this.

Isaiah is babbling like crazy - with semi-real words.
Blah blah blah blah
Ma Wa
Ba ba ba ba ba
Rah rah rah rah
Da da da da
:)
The past 6 months have been some of the best in my life! :D
