4 months!

Isaiah turned 4 months on Monday & had his well check up at the pediatrician's office. I was kind of sad to go because the doctor we had been seeing since he was born left the practice. So, I was experimenting with a new doctor. She was VERY nice though, so I was pleased! He did SO good! He weighs 16 lbs 4 oz & is 24 & 3/4 inches long! He's getting so big! :)

He has started this new thing the past few weeks. He is making a tugboat noise with his lips... or blowing bubbles! (Hillary, you know what I'm talking about!! Bryson loves to do it!) Ricky will actually "blow bubbles" and Isaiah will do it back! It's so awesome to see him copying us! He is reaching out for everything that is put in front of him! He grabs it & it immediately goes to his mouth!

I started feeding him solids on Monday. He is doing so well with it! The first day, every time I would put the spoon in his mouth, he'd make the most horrible face! It was so cute! Then, once he realized there was food on the spoon, he would start to chew. :) Now, 5 days later, he is opening his mouth for the spoon, still making a little face when the spoon gets in his mouth, but he is chewing the food, swallowing most of it, and smiling! He loves to touch it and get it everywhere! It's SO cute!
